Re: MGW LLC
I am not trying to throw fuel on this fire , but from what I have seen in addition from not knowing what he is doing he is also doing these rewelds and not regestering them. if the semi mods are not done to BATF specs, they are contraband. he has obviously bit off more than he can chew, and if he ha...

Re: semi auto bolt V2.0
you need to drill the feed stud out with a 3/8" bit so the striker tube can go through, it sticks out the rear. the entire wedge / tube assemblt is supported on both ends. it totally eliminates binding here is a video, I have fired almost 1k rounds in 8mm and 308 developing this setup. http://projec...

Re: Solothurn / MG15 project
Just because one person tried and failed / gave up doesn't mean it isn't doable. I have close to $1,800.00 tied up in kits, receivers and parts and refuse to let them rot.

Re: Solothurn / MG15 project
I wouldn't rule out the existing 80% ones. if you study some of the semi mods in existing approved designs that use an original receiver you will see that not much has been done to make it a semi. the mg42 is a good example. only 2 simple mods are necessary to negate the full auto features. the mg34...
