Re: Need a couple receiver dimensions
Be patient and wait until you get the grip. If you're 20 thousandths off from what the grip needs, you'll end up messing up the holes to get it to fit. One step at a time is the way to go. PLEASE listen to the man. This gun is unforgiving. Mine was about .010 off and I have to beat the $hit out of ...

Re: Blond Girls and Guns!
Uh, cause I was too lazy to strip the bbl shroud down, degrease the entire thing, sandblast it and spray it......thats the honest answer. But also, this gun was a test bed for several different parkerizing methods and I like to be able to show people the different results. I learned that I can get s...

Blond Girls and Guns!
Perverts. I knew that would get your attention. I was talking about my Yellow Lab, Zoey..... Well, the 34 is done....or as done as Ill ever get it. The rear half is duracoat, the front is parkerized. Remember that this kit was a pitted mess so I didnt destroy anything by refinishing it. The trigger ...

Re: Need help with TNW trigger assy.
Panzer, I found some blueprints. PM me with yer email address and Ill shoot it to you. It only shows the bolt/sear ring combo but it will show you what you need. The sear is the weakness. ANY varience in the trigger parts and the sear wont trip.

Re: Need help with TNW trigger assy.
Yes, I have it fully installed, but hardly operational. The TNW trigger setup is a miserable design. The single biggest problem I had was removing the material, the 'trigger gate' and welding in another smaller, shorter piece. I had to make several sears before I got it to even drop the firing pin. ...

Re: TNW stiff trigger fix?
The horrible trigger pull is inherent with the TNW kit. That big, coiled, sear spring is to blame. Use two fingers and get used to it. It sucks, but there is really no way around it.....

Re: Sarco's next ad
I was at SARCO back in July.....they didnt have ANYTHING for 34's there other than some Izzy BBL's (at a great price, but I dont need another) and literally a small box full of little parts. I really think we have reached the point of 'whats out there is all thats left'.......my 34 may be a cobbled ...

Re: Dummy receiver
Its like a treasure hunt. We are a very select group of people who recreate history. We are subject matter experts on markings, mechanical function and the legalities of this art form. When one of us gets a cosmogoo covered parts kits, the collective history of engineering, war, machismo and persona...

Scott, I did exactly what you said not to do. I cleaned up the pieces of the receiver.... put the bolt in ....adrenalin started to rush .........UPS just took my baby away for a rebuild :wnana: John Ya know, I friggen warned you! You will get the receiver back and the bolt will glide like glass.......

Re: Dummy receiver
DO NOT clean up the receiver and slide the bolt thru the sections. If you do that, it will be too late......you will officially start wanting to build a semi. The way this gun works is amazing. There isnt much too it and you will be fooled into complacency......"Oh,the bolt slides freely, that half ...

Re: Dummy receiver
You will NOT be content with a dummy. DO NOT just garbage weld it together, you risk damaging the receiver. If you REALLY want to dummy it up, I suggest you either make a device to hold it together from the inside (some expanding channels in the rails) or some type of bondo/JB weld combination. Is y...

Re: Receiver-Barrel Shroud Attachment Issue
I never stress over corrosive ammo. I wipe everything down with ammonia first and then clean it as usual. The BBL shroud issue should be a quick fix, remove the Duracoat for starters. If its still that tight afterwords, there is an issue. Good luck opening it again!

Re: Receiver-Barrel Shroud Attachment Issue
I know you are frustrated, but do EXACTLY as I say....(lets see if I can still master instructions without pictures....) 1)Hold bbl shroud in left hand. Depress shroud button w left thumb. 2)Insert receiver stub w right hand. Insert stub w "receiver" at outside 3'oclock position. When there is about...

Re: Receiver-Barrel Shroud Attachment Issue
With the bbl stud 180 off from the shroud, leave about 3/16th of an inch between the stud and the receiver. They will time right up. They should not be touching before you rotate it closed.

Re: TNW MG-34 fail to fire
Couple of assumptions here. 1)Its a semi. 2) you mean it is no longer going bang, not that it wont feed a second belt after a first belt is finished???...... Explain 'trigger will not go back all the way'...if the trigger will not travel fully rearward, it will not fully engage the trigger bar, whic...

Re: Holy Smokes '34 receivers for $75
Guys! Watch these receivers. They look EXACTLY like my first '34 receiver...the receiver stub is cut too close to be rewelded and whats worse is they are cut right thru the safety lever area. This is a citical area and almost impossible to reweld. (Pirate took one look at mine and said the cut thru ...
