Like the idea of keeping the belt length at 50 and doing the grind out so only 10 can be loaded in a row. Nice idea. Ok, question can you receive the belt and then grind it before anyone knows or ???? So happen to live in a state does not have those rules. And I/we don't have those problems. Later 4...

The MG42 semi, what trigger setup does it have? If the standard ar-15 one then a little bending to the mg3 lafetter trigger metal might be needed. Not much but. I believe that I have a marked yugo lafette and will be happy to check it out and do photos and take the measurements tomorrow. It's like 10:30 pm here and I had a long day. So will work on on Sunday our tomorrow.

And a starter tab holds 3 rounds. Do they count that in a possible belt of ten rounds?
I would hope not. Are you going to be shooting 8mm or 308?

Ok flemgunner please go take a ride on a Sherman for my Dad who used to be a Sherman tank driver then tank commander and then instructor during WW2. Enjoy it also.

Well flemgunner that just sucks for those folks that need your help man. Now Please go and take a Tank ride for me and Enjoy it. New job rebuilding and riding in tanks all day long. And you really get paid for this or you have to pay them. LOL There are a few other folks out there that I would trust...

There were some pieces sold that made up the difference between a brp receiver and some of the m53 receivers cuts that are out there. Some very interesting info in this thread. Several folks have had problems with hammers and had to adjust, well here is a nice pic and also some comment on bolt carriers.
