By channel, I'm guessing you mean inside the receiver?

I too used Aluminum Oxide (80grit) and it was time consuming to blast, but not impossible or difficult.

Not yet, but he did do 3 of my RC K98s and they turned out awesome. Hopefully I'll get it done in the next month.

I use the Beachbum grip with an unmodified AR FCG. Its worked for a year now with no problems.

I'll get a list for ya. Off the top of my head, cutting the lower tray to fit the tube and set the FCG is the biggest items. The pistol grip/stock assembly, magazine well are unmodifed.
