Re: Email from Centerfire

"Box arrived yesterday'-this implied you haven't opened it yet-are you ok? We can send someone to help if you aren't.I myself never get out of the parking lot with an un-opened package. If it comes to my house,I find it on the counter all torn open-my UPS guy can't wait to see what I have gotten![He...

Re: Bolt Rail Question

Thanks, makes sense, I noticed that on my set regardless of which ever piece goes on the left, the thinner rail will be down.

Bolt Rail Question

I've got a set of new rails. They appear identical except one has the number one painted on the inside and the other has the number 11. Can either one go on either side? It appears that if they are a correct set this would be the case. I don't have an old set of rails to compare thus the question. T...

AHA! Thanks so much, that makes sense now. I thought it was a "mount", like, a "mount" :) That would be *GREAT* for a toolbench holder when doing gunsmithing work on it. I could put that in the garage, perhaps drill holes in the bench so I can remove it easily and presto I have a fully-clamped gun ...

Thanks for the photos and your info. I've got the WLA gripstick but now doubt that I'll use it. I think that for rigidity of the receiver I don't want to cut that much metal away. I'll probably go with Pirate's version or Panacea's.

Got the WLA gripstick too but I'm reluctant to remove all the metal between the ejection and grip slot. Looks to me like it would weaken the longitudinal stability of the center of the receiver considerably. Think I'll go with a different gripstick instead.

I've dealt with Pete and he is a class act. I felt that the price was more than fair. The pieces are hard to come by, didn't want to burn them up gobbing on them myself.

I thing to be safe you should probably weld in the SA bolt stud and lengthen the grip stick slot so that it not hold the original full auto grip stick.
