I can't remember where the thread is with my drawing, but I didn't dimension that distance directly. You'd have to add it up. But....the rail butts up against the back of the cam piece, and it should be the same on both sides. So, the short answer would be the distance from the front end of the rail...

Hi folks: About a month ago, I got a copy of Chory's book from an out of print book search outfit. Paid all of $15.00 and post :D I'll bet it cost more than that new 8) Anyway, I sprayed a piece of metal with 1944's "Gelbbraun", and it was a match for Chory's first variant of "Dunklegelb" RAL 7028. ...

I have done some preliminary testing and am making some improvements based on the tests. Once I have all the dimentions correct I will have parts made. this wil be a drop in conversion for those of you with a converted bolt, all that wil need to be done is drill out the feed stud in the ejector sle...

I've got a can of the Cold Shield and some of their copper back-up strips that I'm planning to use. On my BREN weld, I'm also thinking about mashing some copper tube into the internal grooves to cut down on the clean-up inside ;)

Sigfried: A while back, one of the other fellows, Maybe DI, said that Sherwin-Williams has the ability to mix paint to the "RAL" colors. I stopped at the store in Gillette, Wyo. a couple trips ago, to ask. It was on a Saturday, and the local fellows didn't know anything about it, and the "help desk"...

Boys:

This is a fine mount, it clips right where the back bipod mount is....if you haven't got a ring for it, make a pedestal and bolt it to the floor of your convertable...Bil? :lol: That's what I'm figuring on doing to the VW Thing that I haven't got yet 8)
