Sooo you shouldn't shoot any kind of commercial? Or are there some out there that aren't so bad? I would prefere not to shoot corrosive.

What is Sweets, never heard of it. Only sweets I know is my wife, and I don't think she's going to clean it!!

I use Doall ink remover. Cuts right through it in seconds.

DA do you have any thoughts on cleaning the barrel then?

I recently bought 2 barrels from APEX and was wondering if anyone had a really good way of cleaning the lands and grooves. They were dark and pitted pretty good. Would like to get them shiney again without ruining them.

I have a laminated k98 BYF 41 stock, but not in great condition. Would like a laminated one to replace it in very good to excellent condition. With visible stamps and such with matching hand guard.

Is modern ammo ok for a semi? Meaning Sellier and Bellot.

I am looking for a German top cover for my German MG42.

He said he was still going ahead with the springs. Don't know who all out there still has them on order, but I do for 3 and am going to wait till they are done. He is working on my 42 and keeping in touch with me so far, so I can't do any testing myself.

I p.m.ed him last week and asked about the springs. He stated that noone volunteered to test. Come on guys at least we would know where they are at if someone was testing.

I don't know if I consider myself a German or not, but I was born in Germany while my dad was training over there for Vietnam. I think I actually have dual citizenships. Let me tell you when you need to get an original birth certificate, it's a real PITA!!

I recently purchased a 41 BYF K98. Of course with no capture screws, sight hood, or cleaning rod. ANybody know where I can get these that are marked without fighting over on Ebay?
