just for reference, I put over 400 rounds thru this now and only the factory mags are a little off, bushmaster to the rescue!. For an inexpensive gun, it rocks!. 2-3" groups at 100 yards with a spaz shooter. :mrgreen:

Sounds good . But rather than me setting up rails and bolt (mine is not converted to semi yet), how about looking at you beautiful, finished receiver and finding a place to take a dimension that all MG42's will share?. I know the trigger group rear mount and rail holes are the dims that do not jive,...

Welding up the rear section, what is THE critical dimension?

I am about to weld on the rear piece (buffer area) of the receiver, I have looked at the blueprint in great detail and some dimensions do not jive with each other!. I know this is stamped and 50 years old, but what is"the" , if any, critical dimension to be aware of?.

The first pic is great because of the shoulder-to-tail width ratio, the second one is great cuz the gal is looking good AND cracking-up at making the goofy photo for the love of her boyfriend/husband!!. That gal is a keeper.

Kinkos will make a copy of the poster for you, you just have to go to one of the bigger stores so they can scan it. I know I would pay about $20.00 for a copy...........once you put it on a disk, it is cheap to make. If some dick over there says they can not copy it due to copyright laws, explain th...
