Re: MG34 Nightmare of issues's, easy fix?!?!
Try putting the bolthead on a flat surface and use a deep socket to compress the sleeve. Then (after having taped the jaws) use some needle nose pliers to turn it

Re: MG34 Nightmare of issues's, easy fix?!?!
Well your bolt looks fine. I dont see anything out of the ordinary with it. Silly question but I have to ask, when you close the top cover are you sure the bolt slot is lined up with the rail on the top cover? Im just trying to think of why the bolt would get stuck rearward. Thats a major hangup esp...

Re: MG34 Nightmare of issues's, easy fix?!?!
Well thanx man I didnt realize I was that well known
Anywho. You have a major issue going on there is something, Im guessing, with the bolt that is causing it to hang. Being as its doing it in 2 places the common area is the bolt. Can you take pix of the bolt and post em?

Re: MG34 Nightmare of issues's, easy fix?!?!
Silly question but is your return plunger stuck back? It could cause the barrel to move back and forth and it would stop the bolt (ask me how I know). Most rewelds have a weld spot in the return plungers line so it may be the issue

Re: question 1. Need help with FA MG42 - ejection issues
That ammo should shoot fine, Its all I shoot in mine. Right off the bat Id consider the recuperator. Everything Ive ever heard or seen on em has the standard wound springs. Try the pogo test and see what happens

There are two levers in the receiver, one does indeed hold the bolt back but I find it weird its called a trigger lever and not some variety of sear
