I would be in for two MG34 Original (or "repo") Transit-Chests....and two MG42 Original (or "repo") Transit-Chests. I remember seeing a photo in "Small-Arms-Review" a couple years ago of weapons over in old Yugoslavia when some of their writers were over there training MG-Teams. They had some good p...

Gunslingerdoc, Conversion of an MG34 to fire .308 will not be difficult. We convert many of these to fire the cheaper .308 Blanks for reenacting. 1: Go over to the Home-Page for MG42...Index........and "click" on the MG42 FAQ line at the top of the page. 2: Then "click" on the "Basics" block all the...

Tom R, The one pictured on the AA Web-Page is a Post-War Yugo model......which is identical to the WWII German Belt Loader except no markings. It loads Full-Length military 8x57mm, and 7.62x51mmNATO).........the ones that you see on the Web-Pages (such as Sportmans Guide)...are Post-War of a slightl...

Shortrnd, A detailed set of directions/booklet with good-photos would really help some people. Also, to get a better idea of what is in the kit .........PHOTOs of the "kits" contents would help take away all doubt and help promote a GB (Group-Buy) ..............and might aid in seeing something that...

Shortrnd, BRP CORP makes an 80% MG42 receiver that is made up from four newly formed sections...two sections make up the rear half, and two sections make up the front half of a full-length MG42 receiver with barrel-jacket as one part. They are welded together...but not formed as the original WWII Ge...

Are these newly made 80% MG42 receivers from BRP Corp?....or a different company. Would like to know if these are one-pcs. made 80% receivers or 4-pcs/welded together halves like BRP Corp does for their new guns and display models. Last, what type of welding was used ("stick", MIG, TIG, etc...or?) a...

Dan over at Angola Armory has helped me several time.....good man to deal with. His DEMILed MG42 receivers are 3-cut and come with the rails (removed), trunion (removed), and barrel-gate (still installed). Take a look at his web-page in the MG42 parts section and you can see what you would be buying...

Tom R, I believe that what you are looking for is the East German Z-64 (or maybe the GFV-64) Belt-Loading-Machine with all of the addaptors/spacers that would go into the metal carry-can. I don't believe that you would want the large drum-collator that can mount on top of this belt-loader as it is h...

That "East-German" belt loader came in a metal can that held different adaptors to lay in the area for the different belts being use. I have one of these belt loaders, and it will load 8x57mm in the MG42 type belts, 7.62x54R in Maxim metal belts, 7.62x39mm in both types of RPD Belts....and even load...

Jason, What is the diameter of the firing-pin-hole in the face of your bolt?...and the diameter of the firing-pin? (It may be that you have a worn Bolt-Head-"Face" where the firing-pin-hole is now "over-sized"......?) Next question would be: Are the primers starting to "back-out" of the primer-pocke...

A Thread on Blank-Adapting/Blank-Adaptors/and............
A lot of people frequent this Board are not only interested in the MG34 and MG42, but are reenactors who would like to use their guns for reenacting and firing Blank-Ammunition.
I have given/mailed a lot of information to "Salt6" for this purpose, and more will follow.
Be safe, RichardS.
