I got mine in today, I ordered it before they split the receiver parts in 3 different price section. I bought mine for $100 and has markings on the back: 43 MG 42 690 Z That is what is visible on it but seems like minor rust erased the 19(43) and on the bottom BN(z) So is that the one they sell for ...

Centerfire sucks big time. I ordered three kits a week ago, it took them another week to ship it. When I saw how much money they took off my card I knew something is wrong. They did not ship me one kit because they were out but they did not call me to tell me nor emailed me. So I told them to stop t...

Because bluing with salts does not protect the metal at all, you always need to keep it coated with oil but after time the oil is washed by moisture. Imagine if that MG was painted with duracoat from inside and out it would probably look much better than that. When I was in Croatia in 2002 they had ...

CF has a "special" when you buy 1 kit, you can buy the Suomi kit for $20. I see what "striker754" wants to do. If anyone is planning on buying a kit, get the extra $20 kit for "striker", ship to him and he doesn't have to buy a kit he doesn't need, but does get the Suomi he wants at a good price. T...

MG42 is german and has more value than Yugo M53. But still $1600 is too high at least for now. sturmgewehr44 used to be much cheaper than it is now. I predict MG42 parts to be expencive in future.

I can't believe you guys taking MG 42 to the public shooting range. Thats stupid to do even if its semi only. You should go somewhere remote with your friends and shoot and not to shooting range with something so rare. I would only take bolt action rifle to shooting range because you always run into...

Money is not a thing. If someone sells new receivers and other parts that are needed I would just buy it. I would like to have functional gun but am not planing on getting crazy shooting with it. I already have Yugo M76 8mm sniper rifle and the thing is a beast. Am from bosnia and I have seen M53 in...

Parts needed for build out of a kit?
