Hand cycles fine ejects when hand cycled puts one round down range. Im thinking i need a smaller boster. Its a 13.9mm. Also heres an update to the BHO. Added a small thumb grip to aid in release.

Use a light grease on the rails and oil the moving parts. A 14 mm nozzle is correct for shooting 8mm, but trying an 11 mm nozzle might be a good idea. Try different ammunition too, as some is more powerful than others.

Shes oiled well I made sure to clean the rails bolt etc thouroughly and re lube. Im using romanian 8mm as its what Ive got on hand thats decent quality. I do have some 1939 turk thats noticeably more powerfull but Im only comfortable with that in my bolt guns. Ill try an 11 if I can find one. Might try and reweld the one Ive got but I dont have a lathe so Id have to get creative with my mill.

I have no problems with a 11.5mm booster running romainian 8mm in my FA 42. With a 14 mm booster I have about 1 out of 20 rounds that fail to cycle.

Took a look at everything else tonight and found the camming piece was ever so slightly loose. When it was pushed down it caused resistance on the bolt as it passed over. Felt pretty significant sliding by hand. Welded the pad and filed till it was tight and movement free. Smooth as butter now. Every little bit helps I guess ;)
