All--

As of 1654 hours, 26 May 2010, 1919A4.com is up, at least for the time being. It was weird being the only one on 1919A4.com. Sort of reminds of an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Hmm, i should honor canada's contribution to the 1919a4 by building one... However as of right now, 1919a4 parts (and complete semi autos) are on the US no export list :(! Until that is fixed, i won't be able to legally acquire parts for a semi-automatic 1919a4...

"Border officer i swear, those parts are for my go-cart!"

I bought mine Back before home builds got big. Got a kit at the same time for spare parts. Awhile back got a mg 42/53 kit for a capture gun and am thinking about building both into guns.

Hmm but i might eventually just buy one, is that enough to be legitimately a part of the 1919a4 crowd  ?

Well TOS is at it again. Having all kinds of trouble trying to convert my 1919 kit in to a 17A1 gun. The 42/53 is butchored really bad. Thinking about buying one of those rear section kits to make it easier.

The very fact that it is a regular problem over on 1919a4 is testament to Salt's hard work and expense.

No disrespect to 1919a4, many of us are members there too obviously, but you bring up an excellent point "42Rocker."

I just came from there too. I am completing my 1919a4 soon and I have two MG42 kits that were gifts from years ago.
