Recently I bought a new stock from forstergd5 on ebay. I just wanted to show the great quality and craftsmanship of this stock.
I wanted a new stock for my M53 so i started looking around, and seeing the prices for some really beat up stocks made it hard to be happy with a project peace. Then I came across this on ebay for $50 with $10 shipping from Poland from forstergd5
After i got the stock in the mail I was vary happy with what I got.
So with a little work and buying a junk M53 stock for $65 this is what i ended up with.

I have seen these before for sale. How was the fit? What type of wood is that?

The fit was vary good, with just a little shaving and the parts go right in. as far as wood ? I dont know a local tree to Poland.

Re: New Buttstock
Hi, I would like to ask if it would fit M53 when I swap the butt stock internals?
How about the wooden grips? I always thought MG 42 had bakelite grips only.
