WTS: MG42 Display Receiver.

Post by Blanksguy »

WTS: I have an MG42 display receiver that is excess to my needs (made by another Board member).
It appears to me made up with a WWII German rear-section and a "Yugo" front section (just needs one of BRPs Front-AA-Sight-Mounts riveted on).
It has a bolt-semi-only-blocking-stud already mounted, and two blocks tack-welded onto forward bolt-rails as seen in photos.
German rear section marked: D.F.
4752e
dd
....so this is a 1945 dated rear section.
This is not a firearm, but will make a great display, or the basis for a semi-only MG42 with a little work.

I have this priced at $1,650 shipped to lower-48/where legal. Payment can be USPS PMOs or personal-check (personal checks require 2-weeks to clear Bank). The only trades I will consider are:
1: RP46 Top-Cover/belt-feed unit and/or Parts-Kit.
2: A quality-made MK12 MOD-1 complete upper unit.
