New FAL Grip conversion parts

Post by Pirate »

The new style parts arrived today.

The cost for the conversion parts, which includes the fcg box, hammer spacer, hammer and trigger pins attaching ears and pin is $70.00
installing the box on your grip and refinishing is $60.00 this will include the trigger return plunger and spring.
Shipping is $6.50

FAL FCG parts are not included in the price.

The conversion is simple, the parts snap together for welding. You use the box to mark your geip and cut away the top.
There are locating tabs on the box to position it properly on the grip, clamp it then weld it in place. The holes for the triggr, trigger stop and hammer pin need to be drilled to size and the trigger spring retainer needs to be bent.

It is about .160" wider than normal, about .080" per side.

Pirate,
Just a question...Do you have to modify any of the FAL FCG to use this set up?

Or is it just a drop in conversion. I plan on using your bolt and firing pin set up with it.

Thanks.

you need to grind the spur off the top of the hammer, but no other mods are necessary, it is the same as a fal lower dimentionally.

I need one if you will send me your address. Does the FAL set up work better than the AR-15 set up? Pirate I am copying your build I hope with your blessing as it looks to be the best documented I have found I just got my wiselite Rec. I think one of the last my kit is a MG42. my email beltfedmg@yahoo.com

Best Regards, Derek
