WTS: MG34 Lafette-Tripod dated 1940.

Post by Blanksguy »

WTS: MG34 Lafette-Tripod.
NOTE for Moderators: Photos to follow tomorrow as my camera's batteries are now dead due to my other ads placed on our Board today.

I have for sale an MG34 Lafette-Tripod that was left-over ("extra") after selling my C&R MG34 last-year to another collector.
This is a complete/original unit....not something put together/incomplete sold by another vendor recently.

Details about this MG34 Lafette-Tripod are:
1: Lafette-Tripod dated 1940 with manufacturer code of "S" over "652" in Triangle stamped into top-rear of weapon-mounting-platform.
2: Elevating-Mecanism was manufactured by code "GNC" in 1939 (which is correct as elevating-mech. can be manufacture same year or a year earlier than the Tripod.).
3: Bolt-Box is the correct early model with the notch cut at the rear for "post-October-1941" use (IE: bolt assemblies with the longer Firing-Pin-Retainer-Tail.)......and "correct" for a 1940 dated Lafette-Tripod.
4: This tripod has the earlier aluminum-Optic-Mount....again, correct for a 1940 dated Lafette-Tripod.
5: Tripod is complete, and very serviceable (everything works and it looks good). The front "leg-pads" are not torn and very serviceable. This Tripod has been repainted.
Photos of this Tripod's condition to follow tomorrow.

Note: No Optics, no AA-Pole or AA-Head, No Carry-Straps come with this Tripod.

Priced at $2,395 plus shipping to your street-address.
Payment can be by Money-Order or Check.
Contact me at my below listed E-Mail address for payment instructions.

I see where "AA" has posted their MG34 Tripods for sale at $1,900 for their basic "parts-model" (plus shipping)....and $2,700 for their re-painted "parts-model" (plus shipping, and still without the "Bolt-Boxes")..........

.........so I am lowering the price for my nice "original"/"correct" WWII German MG34 Lafette-Tripod with "Bolt-Box" for $2,250 plus shipping to your street-address.
The Bolt-Boxes are hard to locate by themselves......and cost additional $$$ when you can find them.

Wow, this is nice! Someone will get a good deal here, for sure.

I got a Sled Mount for my MG 08 from you, I think, about 13 years ago. Don't know if you remember that, but I do, you were good to deal with, and packed it well. Thanks again!

....."correct"....reply was meant for "MATT" ........... the "powers-to-be" won't let us "EDIT" anything soooooooo we make mistakes and leave them. Just makes for extra reading during your "free-time".

I've sold about 5-6 of the MG-08 "Sleds" over the years.....and they are a real "delight" to "box-up" due to their shape.
Thanks again.

  I fixed a typo in your post! Any time someone needs something fixed,I am always glad to do so,PM me.I will consider it.If someone makes a fool of themselves, don't think it will go away.Price changes, mistakes, wrong pictures, etc. We had a problem several years ago when the edit button was still active, several members got into a peeing match, and erased everything they had posted.A lot of valuable info was lost, and threads didn't make sense. This happened more than once, and when we got the upgraded server,we didn't add the edit.Any mod or Salt6 can edit if needed.Thanks. ---bil

Well I located my next Class-III purchase.....and would like to move this MG34 Lafette/Tripod.......so I will lower the price to $2,100 and include shipping (lower-48 only).

The only trades that I would consider at this time are a complete 1915-Chauchat Parts-Kit and magazines, and a MAT-49 Parts-Kit with DEMILed receiver.
