I do know of a book, totally dedicated to the 7.92mm german service round;

.......Mr. Kent covers all the different ammo labels put on the 15 rd boxes in detail.....Headstamps also plus the different types of 7.9mm rds employed, and others, just experimented with. Much better than a web-site, and has so many illustrations......bh
