Headspacing the MG34

Hello, does anybody have a Fosters field gauge and a Stahlpatrone 62.3 that they have used for headspacing? I am curious if they are different lengths. I have the Foster gauge and am curious if getting a Stahlpatrone is worth the money if I can find one.

I was finally able to read how to properly headspace the MG34 from Myrvang's first volume on the MG34 and MG42. Unfortunately I don't have the page number recorded and the book is halfway across the country from me, but I had taken a picture of the small article describing the process. There is no mention of removing the extractor like when the MG42 is headspaced.

Headspace checking is done with the barrel jacket separated from the receiver and the bolt with the headspace gauge inserted manually into the chamber. The headspace is determined by ensuring that the bolt catch on the barrel jacket slips over the outer bolt roller with the headspace gauge entered into the chamber.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
Brian
