How to Replace MG34 Grip Panels?

Post by rmogg »

Hi Forum-

I just registered with this forum. I purchased a used TNW MG34 last year on GB. I just received a set of repro grip panels from IMA to replace the very worn and chipped original bakelite ones. Before I start, how do I do it? The replacement grips have new rivets. Thanks in advance.

Congrats on the MG34. The grips are very easy to remove. Unscrew the two bolt on the bottom of the grips. Then slid them up to unlock the top pins. Good luck
Spell check is down and I'm too lazy to get the dictionary

I know this is an ancient post, but if you try to slide your grips up you will never get them off. Post should have said if your holding the pistol grip UPSIDE DOWN you slide them up, otherwise slide them down  .
