Need help with TNW trigger assy.

Post by ScottD »

I received my TNW semi trigger parts today. Rather, I received a bag of screws, springs and parts and some blueprints. The prints are fine but they dont show me how it all goes together. I know I can figure it all out a soon as I see how it all fits........ I need, specifically,

1)A picture of the bolt with the carrier removed
2)A picture of the trigger bar and pin as it sets in the receiver.

Hi ScottD,
I wish I can help you, but I can't.Is it possible that you can post the blueprints here or if not email it to me Please.I am soon planning to buy the TNW that's already assembled by TNW.But heard they have issues & I would like to be prepared to handle anything that comes up and I am sure your Blue print will come in handy for me.

Yes, I have it fully installed, but hardly operational. The TNW trigger setup is a miserable design. The single biggest problem I had was removing the material, the 'trigger gate' and welding in another smaller, shorter piece. I had to make several sears before I got it to even drop the firing pin. Ill see if I can find the blueprints that TNW sent me and shoot em over to you.

BTW- Im not bashing TNW. Their design is ingenious and the only one on the market, I just think it sucks. However, I dont have another solution to suggest so I guess Im part of the problem. (if yer not part of the solution, yer part of the problem kind of thing......)

Thanks ScottD, :wnana: :wnana:
Just the blue prints alone I think would help me quite a bit. Also I do agree with you that there is nothing else available.Just got to do some sweating, cursing, and bleeding but at the the end you have your baby on it's bipod firing with no problem.
I wish you the best of luck ScottD & thanks for offering to send the Blueprint

Panzer, I found some blueprints. PM me with yer email address and Ill shoot it to you. It only shows the bolt/sear ring combo but it will show you what you need. The sear is the weakness. ANY varience in the trigger parts and the sear wont trip.
