see the two MG34 barrel shrouds a Dot 1944, Waffenwerke Brunn AG

note the Barrel jacket has 2 extra cooling holes in bipod mounting sleeve

936 1940 Gustloff Werke Suhl, a Israeli rework complete with
Star of David - Parkerized finish I bought from IMA as adisplay gun.

Are the extra shroud cooling holes common (I had not seen that before)

I have 4 with the holes,1 without.Will get the markings if you want. ---bil

Thought it odd and had not read of it anywhere. I guess its more common to have those than not. :shock:

I those are common on the dot manufactured barrel shrouds.
