German Binoculars ?

Post by tomcatshaas »

What was the typical Binoculars that the Gun leader of a MG crew would carry? ie. the power 6x30,10x50, 10x80 ect. I think I am in the market for one.

The MG crew most probably had a small pair of 6x30's, which were common. It was the Truppenfuhrer or section leader that the MG crew worked under that would more probably have binoculars. But there are no hard rules to a lot of this sort of stuff.

It was the standard 6x30 for normal field use.
