Ammo Drums
Re: Ammo Drums
I certainly am - are you selling some?
Re: Ammo Drums
....do you have 8x57mm assault-drums for sale (WWII German or Post-War) ???.....and with or without the carriers (?).
....or are they the shorter 7.62x51mm/.308 Drums (?).....steel or plastic construction (?).
Photos ???
Last would be if you could post a "link" for the rest of us to locate these.

I'll get pics. These are the 8x57 mm "assault drums" Yugoslavian WW2 style.Blanksguy wrote:....do you have 8x57mm assault-drums for sale (WWII German or Post-War) ???.....and with or without the carriers (?).

Re: Ammo Drums
Guys.... Dave's (12thWaffenSS's) drums are Yugo. I think he has ONE available, not CRATES of them, so please dial it back a notch (except Bil, who needs to keep it wide open full throttle just to keep up with the rest of us).

Re: Ammo Drums
You know, if 12th only has one... Who's up for a group buy on yugo 8mm drums from Marstar !
$40 CAD/ each, and it shows them as in stock. Besides, i need a drum anyways, and if you can have them legally imported okay, i may be able to bypass you all paperwork marstar seems to want for you american buyers .

ARGH!!!!!!!
Re: Ammo Drums
I don't know what the current stock situation is with Marstar, but last year I bought some drums and a carrier from them and they were all German WWII with waffens and the whole shebang. I ordered "Yugo" stock, but everything I got is original German. Hope that is still the case.

Re: Ammo Drums
nice! Just a question, did they require you to provide special paperwork, or do they ship to american addresses without issue?gdmoore28 wrote:I don't know what the current stock situation is with Marstar, but last year I bought some drums and a carrier from them and they were all German WWII with waffens and the whole shebang. Re: Ammo Drums
Marstar can ship the drums just about anywhere as far as I know. You get potluck with regard to whether your drums are Yugo or German. I think that the ones they are selling for $40 CAD are ONLY Yugo though. Who knows... you might get lucky and get a German one. Aside from the markings, they are the same.

However, I do need a Canadian source for those Chinese made Norinco 1911's that Marstar has.Michael J wrote:Then no need to go through me, go buy your own drums :P
Re: Ammo Drums
Heard quality isn't the best on those things, but they are built like a brick. Shooter-grade anyways, and you may want to file and polish the parts to get it all smooth.
I'd help you, but i don't got a license to own a pistol yet, or i'd buy one myself !
