Hard to say, all I can add is that the Yugo postwar types don't have the felt strips fore and aft. Having said that I haven't seen the felt in the yellow-green colour either - it is normally grey or grey-blue??
The little brass fittings make me inclined to say it isn't German...
It's a 34 cover by the way, it wouldn't fit a 42. Anyone know if Israel had or made covers for the many 34s they used postwar?
