Appears to be Portugese marked. Believe someone posted something on these on this board earlier. Still, gives some good ideas. Thanks.

$1400+ buys all the tools and wood to build a number of these.

I'd guess that the buyer thinks it's original German. The ad stated it was original, but not which country it was originally from. IMA was selling those cases for (I think) $900, so somebody made a good buck.

Wow, I remember when the MG was the price of the case..... ;(

John-look in the F/S section-last week,a post by member BDE.The same box with a 42/53 front section for $2500.Box separate.I also think it is portuguese. ---bil
