The stuff I got was PURE JUNK :puk: :puk: :puk: Had 2 HANG FIRES!!!! ,several non-fires, pulled the projectiles and dumped the rest.I might have gotten a bad batch but, from what I have heard from others I shoot with, South American ammo is questionable at best.

A good rule to follow is...if you wouldn't drink their water, don't use their ammo! Roumanian is good,Portuguese too. ---bil

Yugo works in an original MG-42, but I much prefer Romanian. The Yugo primers are hard, and some are recessed too deeply, and some of the guys with semi M-53's may have occasional light strikes as a result.

By Yugo you mean the 70's stuff and not the 50's right?

Shoot heck out of the 50s stuff in my MG34, runs just fine; but the same stuff doesn't work well at all in my MG08, due to the hard primers.

Incidentally, I got some Portugese that was really lousy with hangfires, duds and so forth. Dunno why, but my experience there was not good. I had the same thing with Ecuadorian.

Romanian is king! Thats the best stuff out there!
