FESTUNG29 présentation

Post by FESTUNG29 »

Hi

For some years I visit your site because I am a collector of MG34 & 42.
I never dared to join it with the barrier of the English language.
I am a small French who do not master English language. For cons, I think I know a little bit about the MG34 and 42.

I am a administrator of the French forum MG :
http://mg34mg42.forumactif.org/

I was recently in contact with one of your members and this made me want to enroll you. I hope you will forgive me my writing, but as the saying goes in France "it is by forging that one becomes a blacksmith."
There are people among you who seem to know very well about the MG34 & 42, I hope that my contributions will help.

I do not know if this is the right place to stand. The administrator will move my post if it wants to.

See you soon.

Bienvenue. Je parle un petit peu francais aussi.

You do not need to worry about your English. It will most certainly be better than our French.

We have a very good group of people here, who all like to share and learn. I'm sure we will not worry about a small thing such as language.

Good evening (in France it is 20 hours).
Thank you for your welcome.

As already said, I collect the MG34 and 42 with all that is around to small tools.
I wrote a dozen articles on MG34 in a French magazine (GAZETTE DES ARMES) of old weapons collectors. I know a little bit about me and I know there is always more to learn by sharing knowledge.
This is what we do on our French forum for many years with a handful of enthusiasts. I invite you to register, make a small presentation and to participate with us.
This is what I propose to do at home, because I think it also has among you there are people who know the subject.
I read messages on your forum for which I think help to responses such as optical and MGZ direct and indirect pulls and many other things. the MGZ are my specialty.
I'm glad some of you know a little French. This will at times to correct my expressions to better understand with words in French if necessary.

For the French or English is not a big problem.
We always come to this understanding between enthusiasts.

Do not forget to make a small presentation after registration at our forum.
It is required here.

Back in your site.
SALT reactivated my account under the name "FESTUNG".
Excuse my poor English, but I use something of a translator.

Salut,

Following the terrorists attacks in Paris in November 2015, and "hunting witches" which applies to citizens collectors, we decided to close the French MG site.
It was a very good site solely dedicated to MG where there was a lot of informations specify and argued with great documents and much photos.
It's sad to have closed to all those who worked in its construction, but it is like that and we can not go back.

The government of a country might suck (the USA doesn't have a lot of room to talk about this right now), but usually the people have the same goals and ambitions in life as everyone else. Let's not confuse the two.
