I am a new guy to mg42 building. I want the best and most complete kit I can get. Where can I get a good one? I have built 2 1919a4s and they run great. thank you

Please don't fool with Century. I recently got burned by them when my kit showed up with no barrel.

can some one tell me what the 3rd and 4th items (from the left) on the bottom row of the I/O parts picture of the m53 parts kit are?

Parts - Bottom left group, second piece in is the front sight. It folds down when not in use. The third item in, from the left, looks like one of the springs for (I think) the Recuperator - it is located in the top right of the picture, fourth item in. This device has several (4?) of these springs and push the barrel forward after recoil.

Was that the question? Answers subject to correction by others. :wink:

From left to right.....#3 looks like the rear sight tube spring
#4--Firing pin
#5-- eject plunger

left to right
1) booster catch
2) front sight
3) last recuperator spring
4) ejector plunger
5) top cover bolt
6) recuperator plunger
7) gripstick mounting pin
8) buffer latch
9) 2 nuts for recuperator bolts
10) the recuperator bolts
etc
kit appears configured as a MG1 .308
"good , bad, .....I'm the man with the gun."

Its amazing anything works right around here with a bunch of
over-age juvenile delinquents running the place.

#4 IN THE LOWER LEFT OF THAT PIC IS NOT THE EJECTOR PLUNGER I GOT THAT IN 2 KITS and no clue what it is :?

got a 8mm kit from io box was full of holes :evil: luckly only missing booster end kits in perty good shape crest looks cool
