Re: Rubber bumper to protect shells from damage

I guess I'll have to take some more pictures, which I can do because I still have the bumper :)

Give me a day or two and I'll take care of it.

Re: Another great image!

When the board crashed (due to being on a crappy server that the internet company transferred it to), all photos files were corrupted and unrecoverable. Once they trashed everything, they moved it all to another server, but it was too late. The backup I had made before things went bad only copied th...

Re: WTS/WTB MGZ40 Optic Parts

Battery box for sale from Poland, but the ad says they only ship to Germany and he wants paid by bank transfer. So, if you know someone in Germany who can resend it to you and make the payment, you're good. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Box-Batteriekasten-Flakglas-10x80-Flakfernrohr-Scherenfernrohr-MG42/...

Re: WTS/WTB MGZ40 Optic Parts

When I go to the restroom or to get something to eat, each time I cut through that show in a different direction and check what's on the tables. Other than that, I spend my time at my tables selling manuals, and don't cruise the rest of the show looking for deals. It's the best show of the year, but...

Re: WTS/WTB MGZ40 Optic Parts

A pic of the other side (left side) of the scope would be good. What is obviously missing here is the mount, which includes the elevation mechanism, gauge window, and knob. It also looks like the windage knob is gone from the left side (hard to see). Shown below is a compete sight for reference.. Ri...

Re: WTS: MG34 parts

It's a good idea to send the seller an email, as well as post it here that you want the parts. Click on the sellers username (in blue) at the top of their message to get that information.

If you still have the pictures that you uploaded years ago, post them here and I'll put them back in where they belong. All the pictures were lost in the crash.

Re: The board is back, more or less

Editing posts was limited to within 60 minutes after they were initially written. I've changed that to enable editing within 24 hours.

If there's something that needs editing past that time, let me know and I can do it.

Re: WTB Trommelhalter for MG34

This part is rarely available as an original, but more often available as a reproduction. An original top cover was recently sold from Russia for $2500, with an original drum for $3,000. Yes, the drums are that expensive and more. I remember a drum that sold for $5,000 5 years ago, but that seller a...

Re: Semi-Auto Trigger For Open Bolt Gun

Yes, but the MTG74 trigger is capable of full auto fire. If the rules say that's not allowed, the semi trigger above fits the requirement. It might have been less trouble to put a block in the MG74 style trigger group to keep the trigger from being pulled to the full-auto stage, but MG74 trigger gro...
