Re: IMA German MG42 rear reciever pieces
These are excellent receiver pieces. I built 1 running german semi already, and have started to build a second from the same receiver sections I purchased from IMA. I personally removed the flame cut through rails with an end mill and removed the head. Punched the rest of the rivet through with a pu...

Thanks 42rocker for the response. I was hoping they were worth more than I had paid.

IMA German MG42 rear reciever pieces
Can anyone give me an idea what these pieces are worth? Thinking of selling 1 of the sets. I know I paid $250 when they were offered for sale.

Re: Semi mg42 parts
I talked with Brian at BRP the other day and he told me that somebody is getting in 900 M53 kits. So he is starting to ramp up semi-parts. He told me a few weeks before the grip sticks will be ready.

I emailed Thompson machine about buying another of his grip housings. I have one already and really like it. But he wont produce any more I was told. Was wondering if I bring this to my local machine shop and have it reproduced that anyone else would be interested in 1 also. Just throwing a feeler o...

It's not a 42 spring tube though. Does that make a difference? I know the 42 spring is too big.

recoil spring tube
I have an option to pick up a spare recoil spring tube from a friend for $40. Is this a good price? What do these normally go for, and whats it really worth?
Thanks
