Re: Bolt Blocker stud location *For Reweld
Just wondering how much of a block is condsidered adequate (or legal)? Is a 3/8" stud enough? The BRP and Wiselete SA receivers have condiderably more metal as a blocker.

Re: Weaponeer M53/MG42 Stick Grip
parOthead151- It looks like your WLA grip has a hook that points to the rear of the gripstick. Is that correct? The one I have has the hook pointing forward. Yours doesn't have those extra threaded holes behind the trigger and hammer pin holes like mine does either. Maybe there's more than two WLA v...

Re: Weaponeer M53/MG42 Stick Grip
It seems to work pretty well. I had to ream out the holes in the safety block just slightly so my pins would slide through. Then I had to lube it really good, because the block would want to stick and angle just enough that it didn't want to slide back and forth freely. But it works well now. The ne...

Here you go. I might be interested in your old style WLA grip if you decide to sell it.

Re: Weaponeer M53/MG42 Stick Grip
WLA's newer grip isn't plug and play with their own receivers. The only explanation I can think of is that their production gun M53 receivers are slightly different than the ones we got. Maybe it's plug and play with for the production guns, but it certainly isn't for mine. Wish I had known that. Th...

Re: Weaponeer M53/MG42 Stick Grip
Yep I'm in the same boat as you parOthread151. I figured the grip would be DESIGNED to fit their own receiver. The little hook on the top comes up short in reaching metal between the grip slot and ejection port. I asked a fellow at Wiselite about this and he insisted I didn't have my grip retainer p...

Chris-
Very nice looking builds! I am planning on using oxphoblue on my TNW receiver as well (real soon) and I can let you know how it turns out. Also I just sent my 34 trigger off to Heli for conversion.

I had just received my Weaponeer group buy MG34 receiver from them on Friday, and the flier was included in the box. No price listed, but I also would be curious to know.

Re: How many are up and running?
I am going the TNW route via the Weaponeer group buy. Reasons: 1) Seems to be the easiest way to build this thing, though I can completely understand those of you who enjoy the challenge of a reweld, etc., not to mention the originality of using an original reciever. My welding skills are non-existe...

Re: Hi I'm new
Another Minnesotan here. Hey wynne, check out http://www.marstar.ca they used to have TNW MG34 semi's available. You might want to contact them. I see they also have German made semi MP 40's and MP 44's now too. So yeah, you can get some pretty cool stuff up there depending on what licensing you hav...
