First post, but have been reading a bunch. I am in mass (behind enemy lines so to speak) I can build a m53/mg42 for here but cannot have a falsh hider. I know it is intregal to the front booster , but I am wondering if it will affect funtion if I remove the flash hider part. (part it off with the lathe) I will leave the booster intact.
If I can't then I will not be able to build one here. I don't see where it would matter to the funtioning of the weapon but I figured I would ask before I bought a kit and other parts....
Thanks

MG42 Muzzle Brake - not a flash hider
Rather than hijack this thread with a change of subject, I started a new thread about the MG42 muzzle brake. It's not a flash hider, and local laws may allow it (you decide).
