dwmmg08,
Thank you again. The Story, well only 2 are really nice, the shooter is about 85 to 90 % original finish gun. The other 2 came from one of or the largest ww2 german collections in the US. The Gustloff is about a 98 to 99% original finish with matching barrel, feed tray, cocking handle, rear site, bolt carrier and head. Judging by the wear on the rest of the parts they are original to the gun also except of cource the wa11 bakelite stock.
The Maget gun although finish wise it is not as nice as the gustloff gun. The outside finish is starting to show its age but Bob Naas said the gun had been fired less than 100 rounds. It has a matching bolt carrier and bolt head, feed tray, rear site, and trigger group. The rest of the parts on the gun have the same wear as the rest of the gun, so one can asume the are original to the gun.
The shooter is the first one I purchased. Then I set out to find the nicest there was in the US. Luckily I was hooked up with Bob.
I figure why shoot the 2 nice ones when I have another to shoot. I can only shoot one at a time anyway.
