Thought you guys might like to see DA's ole'MG-42......Young Lady wanted to pose & shoot it for her H.S. grad photos!....(on Knob Creek Rg, Ky)

Very Nice. Hope that she can make it to the next Creek. Last time I saw that mg42 was in Red Wing, Minnesota.

42 Rocker, she works with many of us at Knob Creek during the the MG Shoots.>> Her dad is a tanker doing two years in Korea, he is one of many of our heros here who have been in Iraq & Afghanastan...>
....Right now she is going with an x-armored scout who did a year in Afghanastan. A pretty & very nice young Lady going with a fine young man....God Bless them all.......bh

Don't know if SHEs wearing a dress or not but if that is DA's old 42, its already been fired by someone known to wear dresses.
Very pretty girl by the way.

Nice pictures -
The MG42 spits hot oil back at you (right shoulder and forearm), gave me a blood blister on my charging hand today and makes my hands smell of something vile that takes about four washes to clear up.
It also burns you, after 50 rounds, if you touch the metal almost anywhere beyond the hinge of the top cover.
It is quite uncanny, I have quite a few other firearms, one other belt-fed and none of them are quite as interactively aggressive as the '42.
I would be afraid to let my wife shoot it - except on some days, lol...
...no I love her.
