Let me know if price is off, I know new made ones are $700 and not Nazi marked so I think my price is fair.
Price is shipped. USPS postal money orders only.
308 2 piece blank firing barre with Nazi barrel extension extension and Nazi barrel. Has 1 threaded plug in the barrel. I have never used it but it is a used setup. $800
Will trade for 308 MG42 barrels, silver, Yugo Lafette optics, MG42 parts kit, other interesting MG42 stuff?
Jaredrlewman,
.....this MG42 Blank-Barrel-Assembly is not made correctly and is not WWII German. It appears made of some WWII German Barrel-Parts.
Without the flair on the rear of the barrel-section (which allows the "Barrel-Stop" riveted to the receiver under the rear-sight to stop the forward movement of the barrel-assembly) the forward barrel-section will beat the Barrel-Bearing's "keys" against the "Key-Way-Stops welded in the forward section of the Receiver until the keys are broken-off and/or receiver "Key-Ways are hammer-out........and the barrel then hits the Booster-Cup/"Nozzle" and inside of the Flash-Hider.
With this assembly.....the new owner would be required to machine off half of the "Flair" on the rear-section just forward of the Barrel-Extension......and then make a new forward section with a "Flair" as part of the barrel. ....and no, you cannot add a flair to the forward Barrel-Section (as I told Pete-Stout several years ago....).......it has to be a new machine part from an old MG42-Barrel.
I'll see if I can post a clear photo of a correctly made 2-pcs. Blank-Barrel-Assembly for the MG42........and prices fro mine were about $400-$425.
I see what you are saying on that. As I said I have never used it, but it does appear to have been used. I wasnt saying it was a WWII unit either just it is made with WWII parts. Guess its just a Nazi marked piece of metal at this point...

There is another piece that was with the barrel, not sure if this piece is what was used to make this setup work or not. It goes between the booster and the barrel bushing...
