Wow, .308 feedblock works with 8mm?

Ok, I'm thrilled it worked, but... I'm still shocked. I was out shooting tonight, and kept having the same problem, and the manual said it was because the feedblock springs were wore out. The only replacement I had was the .308 parts I'd bought from Folke a while back, so I installed it... thinking this probably won't work at all. I was completely shocked to find out not only did it work, but screamingly well!!! My problems disappeared, as did about 400 rounds of ammo! Has anyone else ever tried this in their full auto MG34?
