Refinishing a MG34 stock. Questions.

Post by IMBLITZVT »

Guys, I am looking to refinish a nice MG34 stock. How did the Germans do it? Was it stained? What color of stain if so? I assume a linseed oil finish? I could not find any threads on it, so if you find any please post a link.

THanks!

Not sure if a mg34 stock was finished the same as a mg42 stock but in the search area I put in stain and got a lot of info. Try this link
