Weird MG34 feedtray

Screwed up or something special?

it is missing the arm with the hole where it attaches to the top cover pin, and it has two little tqabs on each side of the flat area

I think that is very early Tray that was used for both left and right hand feed. It just sat on the receiver and was held on buy the Cover.
