who makes the best semi-auto mg-34

Post by August77 »

Hi Fellas,
I am new to Mg-42 forum and I am looking to purchase a semi-auto Mg-34 in the future. In your opinion who sells a top of the line Semi auto MG-34.
I was looking at a place in Ohio called Buckeye sports company that produce a Semi-auto Mg-34. What do you guys know about their product? I was also looking at TNW,any words of advise.

Welcome to the forum!
Never heard of Buckeye sports. TNW is the best semi in my opinion. I have one. For what it's worth, I'm thinking of selling it in the near future to make room for another project that involves a big vintage V-twin.

There a few threads on the Board concerning Buckeye Sports. Maybe the Moderator can hook you up with a link :cross: Or just search Buckeye Sports

Gentlemen,
Thank you for your help. Correct me if I am wrong, but pretty much the Mg-34's are the same from Buckeye Sports as they are for TNW?

I can't find much out about the Buckeye MG34 online, just a referance to thyem maybe building one? It sounded like they may do rewelds, but not sure. Most semi 34s are either biult by TNW,built by folks that but their receiver and mods and do it them selves,at have it done by a manufactuter like Projectguns. These are all based on the design mods developed by TNW.There is also another version of modification,I haven't seen much about it,but there was someone here that did theirs the other way,and somewhere I have the patent drawings download. It is on an old computer at home somewhere, not much help there.I would contact Buckeye and see what it is they are offering.Let us know what you find out! :D ---bil
