Well it was a chilly morning at the range today in the shade. But the TNW now runs!
I am happy with it's performance today. The newly installed TNW sear seems to be working out and the other sear looks like it was the problem. The trigger tripped the sear everytime with no issues, no slam fires ect. I did have some miss feeds, but even the FA ones do. I think I just need to clean all my belts really well and lube them. Find which belts work the best or just break them in. They are all WWII issued. I also have problems sometimes chambering the first round but if I leave the first 3 or 4 links empty, it seems to help. Now I will strip the receiver down and get it blued.

Excellent job on the bluing. Looks like a perfect match to the rest of your parts.

Re: TNW Project
Thanks Retvet!
Yes, it's a dead on match in color. I got lucky I guess ! The sheen is slightly off due to the fact the other parts have been buffed and handled more thus are slightly shiny....also, I lightly bead blasted the receiver with the very, very fine glass beads. The finest I could find. I just wanted to knock off any flash and burrs from the machining process but still leave all the machine marks just like they did on the originals. I think as I "fondle" the receiver more the sheen will start to match.
