Hi,
First post here. Thought I'd share the transit chest I built for my M53.
It's fairly close to the way the originals were made. I did my best to age it, think it turned out pretty good.

Excellent job.............looks just like my original MG34 box. At first glance I thought it was an original you were showing.

Ha, almost fooled you! Thanks for the kind words fellas.
Next I'll be making a replica lafette (simplified a bit) and case for that.

Where did you get the stencils or did you just paint the numbers and letters freehand?
