If you are talking about the MG Z 34, the Ohio Ordnance Works has them..or did, you'll have to check.

Beautiful women are like well built machineguns: Some should just be looked at, and left alone, while others were built to get hot.

The MG42 might be the state of the art weapon still used by Germany Army and 8 other licenced countries, but know weapon looks as beautiful as an MG34 on a Lafette tripod with full optical gear.I could have bought a ZF34 optic years ago but it's hard to spring $900 to $1100 when I could buy the tripod for that price.

When I made contact with them I requested they send me a photo of the scope and can. They advised that the rubber eye piece was damaged. The photo showed a shot rubber eye piece and a very used can. Some what like the one you got. Then they advised that they had found a better can. But not the can for the scope
What came was the scope with the almost destroyed rubber piece and and extra new looking eye piece. The can which came looked new.
I was advised by someone else that Ohio at one time had a mold made for new rubber, and had some made.
It was my impression that I got the last scope they had in stock.
The scope looks better than the photo - Like anything you order - its the luck of the draw!

I payed more for my accesories than I did my MG Z 34. I got in contact with a guy from the Netherlands that had the carrying strap, a battery box, battery box cable, optics periscope, lense brush and eye cup...all in excellent condition. about $1,300...looking at going prices, I payed about what they would cost individually. The eye cup was in exceptional condition...has that old brown tint to it that I have seen on the eye cups.
