The Elektron (alloy) type of tripod is surprisingly hard to find, the last ones I saw for sale were around £600 so are likely to be that or even more now.

Just checked Klaus Emig's site in Germany - he had two last year, one went for 1100 euros and the other for 1150 euros.

Search under "dreibein" and they'll come up. You can check that what I am referring to is actually what you have rather than (say) an MG13 tripod.
