Ammo tin and belts with starter tab
Can anyone let me know what German ammo tins with 5 belts and a starter tab are going for. All original wartime belts and tab. I know the price depends on condition of tin etc but the prices I am being quoted seem low on good original belts....£2.50...$5 to you guys. I would appreciate any help on this one.

yup belts and tabs are cheap, and i believe can still be had in ww2 can for 40 us? marstar has "post war " for 35 usa $ this is 5 belts 1 leader and can, but usualy i get post war and it is stamped ww2 from them, looks like can alone is worth around $15 us starter tab is $7 us so that should show what belts cost, pretty plentiful here i believe
Great men are born in fire, it is the privilege of lessor men to light the flame, no matter the cost

Hi Bil.
Yes, that's where I live. It has its advantages for sure especially if your into WW.2 German kit. But these days it drying up and nothing really exciting comes to light. For example, I have only found one good condition German helmet here in the last 4 years. When I was a child you only had to look in the garages/sheds of friends or neighbours and you would find all sorts. Anyway, we have a head start on most collectors as we grew up with real kit all around us and not too much of the fake.repro kit has got here because we have the real thing.
Have a great Christmas/New Year.

Hi,
Well just let me know when you are coming over and I will arrange to show you the best places and find you some of the kit that you might want to buy for your collection. The Island is only 9 x 5 miles but the Germans fortified it more than anywhere else along the Atlantic Wall, and none of it was used in anger to any great degree.
