Ryan - what makes you ID it as Portuguese? I only ask as it looks like the prewar style of MG13/MG34 tripods...??

Ryan's correct.I have one of those style AA tripods that I bought from I.M.A. The manager told me they were of Spanish origin.Sarco Inc. used to sell them 10 years ago,Dave Michaels from Sarco told me theirs were imported from Portugal. The Germans might have manufactured these tripods for the Portugese, because one I sent back to I.M.A. because it was rusted real bad,had a waffenstamp on the top swivel.

I have a real 34 AA mount if anyone is interested 850.00

Its the later small type with the detachable head that raises up and down, smaller than the earlier type tripod,

Its green, has drum holders and is Original German WW2 not the postwar stuff.

I bought it many years ago in Belgium. 850.00 plus 30.00 shipping
