One that was brand new, untouched went for over $5,000.... it was Ryan Schnee's. He sold it on Germany's ebay.

That is the great thing about the MG34, you can never ever spend enough money on all of the accessories

Warning,.....i suspect that auction has been lifted , the one mentioned is good, check out this listing, bit of an obvious copy Item No 260196505754, i have fed it into ebay,s system in hope they might even do something about it .
It sure smells enough.

That's scary, I thought it was going for a lot of $$, but now I find out it may be a fraud. Oh well, it sure looks cool, why can't someone make a new copy of the firing pin protrusion gauge?? or a set of the headspace gauges? Did the Yugos not use them, or make their own??? I'd love to have a gauge, but I can't afford to pay that kind of $$$ for them!!!

DW,

The one you mentioned in your post is a good auction, the photo,s from the good one were lifted and blended into a new auction.

Ive seen it happen on a few high value auctions, you also find the seller has zero feedback and has joined ebay fairly recently,
this one followed all of those patterns.

The original auction seller has just e mailed me to say thanks and advise me that the bogus auction has been slam dunked!

The last batch i saw were for german scopes, pinged the bloke and spotted another one, all three different sellers had been created on the same day. All alegedly based in uk, my mate however has a fancy bit of software and tracked the bugger down to the continent but couldnt get any deeper into the trace.

Hacks you off a bit does it not?

Tim
