repo tropical sling

bought a reproduction tropical sling from numrich. not a bad piece but the swivel doesnt fit in the hole of the grip like getting a christmas gift you have no batteries for. ill figure the pin was made too big but were there different hole sizes in the grip?

Are you trying to fit it to a mg42 or a mg34 ????

Well thats strange can you supply a pic I have a couple of these & they fit the 3 mg34 grips I have tryed them on??

i cleaned out the hole and knocked a burr off the swivel. it goes in but it is very very tight. once it is in, it wont rotate, the bars on the swivel hit the grip frame. this is not a big deal but for the cost it is annoying.

Return it for an exchange its gotta be defective

I have the same one-same problem.It fits the 42 OK,I just filed the pin a little smaller.It is just a little bit too thick,it was easier than sending back. ---bil
