Almost bid on this on epay....some aspects I like, but some I'm not so sure....I'll let the pictures do the talking. What threw me off was the ordnance code (enough that I didn't bid on it), what do you guys think? I couldn't find avb listed as an ordnance code....

never seen that code on a can but that does not mean anything really. we should ask michael heidler to look in his code book.

I've owned probably 20 cans, never saw one with a pressed in bottom like that. Can't say it's wrong, just that I've never seen one. The markings look OK.

bottoms on all the ones I have bought and sold and still own are rounded and are formed from a stamping, not the easiest thing to do and and expensive way to reproduce them.

avb is the code of the company "Prestag" Preß- u. Stanzwerkstätten GmbH located in Berlin-Neukölln.
The company made products of pressed and stamped steel. Unfortunately I do not have any closer information about the products.

The marking looks good ... but I don't know if it's original.

With best wishes
Michael
