Seeing as how the SA42 is now (currently...today...) considered a "rifle", then it falls under not just 922r but the NY ban on "assault" rifles which prohibit more than one of PG, folding stock, FH, BL (just like the expired Klinton ban). So if I'm correct, a SA42 w the PG and FH would not be legal.

Comments (besides leave NY)? Thoughts on compliance?

It has to have more then two evil parts, so if a belt dos not count has a detachble mag the you will be ok wth just the FH and PG. or (if it belt is a "mag") you could cut off the FH.
